Sybase Inc.

Working as an independent consultant for company public relations executive Rick Mylenbeck, Robinson took on the task of getting the software maker publicity in the major business media. The result was two major hits in one week: a feature story about Sybase's new advertising campaign in the New York Times and a profile of the company's new wireless division that ran in Forbes along with a photo of CEO John Chen.

Wells Fargo Bank

Michael was hired to write several articles and press releases regarding a wide range of products and services for this leading financial institution. The result was articles used for a series of in-house communications as well as placements in several industry trade publications.

Donahue, Gallagher, Woods & Wood

The oldest continually operated law firm in Oakland , Calif., Donahue Gallagher maintains a broad civil practice that includes marquis corporate and music clients as well as a thriving anti-piracy group. For Donahue Gallagher's work on behalf of the Grateful Dead, Robinson obtained national publicity that included the New York Times, USA Today, Billboard and the Associated Press.

Robinson also ghost wrote an Op-Ed article for a member of the firm that ran in the San Francisco Chronicle. In addition, he obtained profiles of the firm's anti-piracy work in the Oakland Tribune, and more recently turned an award for the firm's pro bono work into a major profile in the San Francisco Daily Journal, a legal trade publication.

Hired as an independent consultant to help Upstart Communications get business publicity for this internet startup, Robinson helped map a strategy for high profile coverage. The result was a page-one story that ran in the New York Times as well as profiles in Investor's Business Daily and Forbes.

Shoreline Pacific Institutional Finance

CEO Harlan Kleiman hired Robinson to do both local media outreach and branding PR to the national business press. The result was a wide range of publicity from local publications such as the Marin Independent Journal, Oakland Tribune and the San Francisco Business Times, several trade publications as well as Business 2.0, Investors Business Daily and the Wall Street Journal.

Wherenet Corp.

A maker of wireless tracking devices, Wherenet wanted publicity that would brand the company among potential industrial clients and help with raising funds from investors. The result was stories that focused on the company's innovative technology and business strategy that ran in Automotive News, Investors Business Daily and the Detroit News.

Connet & Co

Executive Recruiter Mel Connet wanted more publicity in the Bay Area that would help him recruit for his Silicon Valley clients. The result was the placement of Op-Eds penned for Connet that ran in the San Francisco Examiner and San Jose Mercury News and a profile of the recruiter that ran in the Oakland Tribune and San Mateo Times.

Callidus Software

While still in its startup phase, this provider of sales management software wanted to break out of the Silicon Valley pack. As part of team representing Callidus, Robinson focused his efforts around former CEO Reed Tausig, garnering him publicity in the New York Times and Wall Street Journal.
